Role/Responsibility: manage accounts, provide appropriate product suggestion on a client by client basis, execute custom orders on strict timelines, grow existing book of business on a monthly basis, daily communication with customers, sales lead & team.

  • Hole in the Roof is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, order fulfillment, and operating equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment supporting e-commerce and distribution operations.

    Duties

    • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
    • Unload freight using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks while adhering to safety protocols
    • Sorts, counts, packages, labels, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
    • Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas for easy retrieval
    • Prepares completed orders; verifies items to be shipped against work orders to ensure quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
    • Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies ordering department.
    • Load outgoing shipments accurately onto trucks, ensuring proper documentation via AS400 or MRP systems
    • Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management system updates
    • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy
    • Operate warehouse equipment including forklift, reach truck, bailer, and pallet jack safely and efficiently
    • Operate company vehicle to deliver shipments while following traffic laws and
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
    • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety standards.
    • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles preferred
    • Current Forklift Certification
    • Current, valid Driver’s License Required
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
    • Familiarity with logistics management systems and/or shipping/order processing software
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
    • Basic math skills for inventory counts and order calculations

    Work Environment:

    • Primarily on-site in a production facility environment
    • May involve lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, and operating machinery

Responsibilities: 

  • Create custom designs that capture the customer’s vision 
  • Design technically and creatively with final product in mind 
  • Follow detailed directions to maintain positive customer expectations 
  • Manage multiple projects at any given time (5+) 
  • Collaborate effectively with creative team, sales reps & customers 
  • Prepare final artwork to be ready for print 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) 
  • Experience designing for apparel and tangible marketing products 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including print materials, digital assets, and branding projects. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Knowledge of screen printing processes and techniques is a plus
